Fall in Westchester does half the work for you. By the time this couple stepped outside at Doral Arrowwood, the trees around the grounds had turned gold and rust, and the late-afternoon sun was low and warm.

The bride chose a fitted strapless gown finished with an oversized bow at the back, a detail we made sure to show off, and her flower girls in blush pink tulle nearly stole the show. After a first look by the tall windows inside, we headed out to the lawn for portraits during golden hour. The groomsmen's walk across the grass was the most confident strut of the season.

The ceremony took place under a chuppah lined with flowers and candlelight, with both families gathered close. Then the ballroom came to life: tall arrangements of white and blush flowers, a hora that sent the newlyweds up on chairs, and heartfelt toasts that had both sides of the family laughing and wiping away tears.
