Feast at Round Hill

Every once in a while the weather simply cooperates. This couple got a bright, sunny summer day at Feast at Round Hill, and they spent as much of it outside as they possibly could.

The morning moved at an easy pace inside the old farmhouse. Rings and sparkly heels by the window, the dress hanging in a sunlit room, and the groom and his friends in matching blue suits joking around on the front porch. Their first look took place out front by the stone steps and white picket fence, and from there we wandered through the gardens for portraits in the shade.

The ceremony was held on the lawn under an enormous old tree, with a birch arbor draped in white fabric and guests sitting in the dappled light. Their officiant had everyone laughing before the vows even started, and the walk back up the aisle was pure joy.

Inside, paper lanterns hung from the ceiling and the French doors stayed open to the garden all evening. The groom made one of the best grand entrances I've ever photographed (there was a mid-air kick involved), and after that the dancing never really stopped.
